Praxity is the world’s leading accounting alliance and is always looking to welcome new member firms. Their onboarding process when I started involved an initial video call, followed by a series of resources sent separately via email. This approach wasn’t ideal—key information from the call was often forgotten, and important files tended to get buried in inboxes.
My task was to streamline and improve this experience. The goal was to create a single, easy-to-navigate resource that clearly outlined next steps and kept all relevant materials in one place—something new members could easily refer back to and bookmark. I handled the project end-to-end, from mapping out the most efficient onboarding flow to designing the final piece in Foleon.
After receiving a list of tasks that new member firms needed to complete after joining, I started by doing some research to see if there were any existing examples I could draw inspiration from. From there, I sketched out some rough wireframes—my initial idea was to create a timeline-style flowchart that new joiners could easily follow.
I developed these into digital wireframes and shared them with the team for feedback. However, once I began building the concept in Foleon, it quickly became clear that the platform’s functionality wouldn’t support this initial concept. After exploring Foleon’s features a bit more, I found that their gallery grid element could work well as an alternative. I set up a rough page structure using this component, and once the team approved the direction, I moved on to creating custom GIFs, graphics, and filling in the content.
