Praxity is the world’s leading accounting alliance, and each year they produce an infographic to showcase their annual figures to stakeholders. The key challenge lies in transforming dense, often dry data into something engaging, while maintaining clarity and staying true to brand guidelines. To address this, I focused on creating clear visual separation between data sets and incorporated icons and illustrations to make the information more accessible and visually appealing.
Each January, once the data is available, I receive a spreadsheet with all the figures to be featured in the infographic. I then begin the design process in Adobe Illustrator, working within a 12x12 grid to ensure a consistent and balanced layout. Data groups are organized into boxes—larger ones for key metrics and smaller ones for supporting information—mapped carefully within the grid to maintain even spacing and alignment. From there, I add icons, illustrations, and text, iterating on the design until it achieves the right balance of clarity, visual appeal, and brand alignment.
